American Small Leather Photograph Album, Circa 1864; and a Velvet and Brass Photo Album, Mid-19th Century. The first circa 1864, in the form of a leather wallet with gilt picture block, enclosing four tintypes and five carte de visites, faint inscription on the fly leaf with date 1864, the opposite page numbered with the sitters possibly identified; the second in block-printed blue velvet, applied on the cover with a vacant brass plaque with moon and star border and issuing a brass embossed flower stem, and with a crescent-shaped bevelled mirror below, paper faux bois interior mounted with fifty-eight large photographs, two loose photographs, five tintypes and and four carte de visites.
