Elliott, London Mahogany 8-Day Lever Westminster and Whittington Chime Bracket Clock, 20th Century. Affixed on the front with a brass plaque inscribed "LAMAR SOUTTER M.D./ IN GRATITUDE/ FROM HIS MEDICAL SCHOOL FAMILY/ APRIL 25, 1975."

Lamar Soutter, MD (March 9, 1909-1996). Academic, 1931 Harvard College and 1935 Harvard Medical School graduate. Awarded the Silver Star for actions at the Battle of Bastogne in World War II. Founded the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts.
